Discussion should be centralized
Right now most of the input I get is via email but there was also some useful discussion on hacker news and I really don’t know if there is any discussion going on in mailing lists. Now discussion also starts in this blog. Any suggestions where the discussion regarding features, problems and bugs could be hosted?
Ads suck
There is a google adsense banner on top of the hit list and I don’t like it. I’ve already done some SEO to stop it from showing ads for latex-free gloves and latex clothing. I’ve added the ads in the first place because hosting is not free of cost. It looks like the ads will be nearly covering the hosting bill but I still would like to get rid of them. I am hosting with Heroku which suits my needs perfectly and wich is free for small projects but demand for something like Detexify was higher than expected so I needed to upgrade to paid services. The database lives on a small slice wich is not free either. What options can you think of that would at least pay the hosting bill? I am still a student and my budget is therefore limited.
Symbols
I am working though your emails adding symbols to the system. I think I’ll make a big update on sunday.
